Feature Request: Attribute Length Counter

I'd love a real-time length counter for custom text fields/areas in "Page Proporperties > Custom Attributes".
Especially for use with Meta Title and Meta Description for search engine results sculpting.
e.g. Google only shows meta titles to about 70 chars long, and descriptions to about 156 chars.
I currently use a spreadsheet when creating my metadata that counts the characters for me, but it'd be so handy if some sort of counter were built into the Custom Attributes form so I can just edit it there...
