Feature request: virtual page types

A feature that I *really* miss and should not be that hard to implement are 'virtual page types'.

Currently, it is possible to create page types through the C5 Dashboard interface, but it is impossible to assign templates for these created page types. In many cases, a single template (let's say, a main content + sidebar) would be re-used for many different purposes. Page types would allow for structuring content, so that these page types can then later be queries using page_list and autonav blocks.

It would be great to have the ability to *re-use* templates. For example, when creating a new page type through the dashboard, I'd like to see the ability to select a template file to use for this specific page type (and, just as it is now, defaulting to default.php if nothing is selected).

Would love to hear your thoughts on this.

FYI I just started a new thread in the chit-chat forum that is requesting a similar feature:http://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/chat/associating-arbitrar...

Hopefully this gets some traction over there. :)
