File manager doesn't allow uploads

I updated my concrete to 5.5.1 and although I am logged in as admin now the File Manager doesn't show the option to upload new files. What do I need to do to correct this? Should I reinstall the older version?

I don't know why, but some have problems with this after upgrade (myself included) but it's no big deal and an easy fix. All you need to do is add all allowed file types again.
