File manager not importing in the 'file/incoming

I just got this wonderful tutorial from concrete5 about using the file/incoming to import larger files. You could imagine my joy learning only to have that dashed to pieces because that is not working. It is telling me that I have to select a file first, I selected file but to no avail. Do you have a solution to this please.
