File Manager
Permalink
Hey folks,
I am having a hell of a time right now. Any image I upload on the concrete5 file manager shows up as an unknown picture (the white page). Also any pdf i upload and put on the site always says
"Error: Sorry, the file that you requested does not exist. It might have recently been deleted or the address might be incorrect. Go back."
when clicked on.
Am I missing something? All of my file extensions are correct and I've checked allowed file type multiple times
I am using bluehost s I wonder if I have to incorporate that somehow.
So any help would be EXTREMELY helpful as I am fairly new to this
Thanks!

I had this issue as well. It turned out to be a permission error in Apache. Have Bluehost check you file permissions.
Ahh, I just got off the phone with Bluehost and all the file permissions are set and running. Still nothing working. If anyone has any more ideas, here is the link to my site.

All I need really is a logo at the top and it just can't seem to work

There is either a permission issue or an issue with the image itself.
Is the image RGB or CMYK?
If RGB, ask your host why this image does not resolve.

Are you sure that the file permissions to [root]/files allow Concrete5 to access files? Maybe try FTPing them to [root]/files/incoming/ and importing them that way.
thanks for all the help guys!
apparently something called LiveSite was messing with the permissions in my access folder
