File Sets Disappearing

I have a client who keeps creating file sets and then using the "List Files From Set" block to display a list on their page. The problem is, their File Sets keep disappearing. I went in just now and there were zero file sets. Now, this is a pretty large organization, so I can't rule out that someone is deleting them somehow, but that's not a satisfactory answer for them. So, I guess my question is twofold:

1. Has anyone experienced disappearing file sets, and if so, how did you fix it?
2. Is there a way to see if someone is deleting them? Versioning on pages doesn't seem to work in this regard.

Does anybody have any thoughts on this? Is there another way I can get some support for this problem?

Possibly. I'm having a little trouble following the post. Is the poster saying that deleting ANY user causes the File Sets to disappear? Or just the user who created the File Set?

Okay. I set up a test user, then deleted it, and the file sets did, indeed, disappear. Yikes! But, now I have an answer at least. Thanks for your help!
