Firefox hangs

Specs:
Macintosh (multiple computers)
Firefox 3.6
Concrete 5.4.1.1

When editing in Firefox, whether adding a block, editing a block, really anything on the editing side of Concrete, often Firefox will just hang once any "OK" button is pressed. For example, I edit some content in a content block, hit OK, and Firefox just hangs. The interesting part is the database is actually getting updated with the changes. When I hit refresh, I get the "Content Updated Successfully" box, but I have to hit reload or the page hangs there indefinitely.
I do not have this problem with Safari or IE, only with Firefox, and it happens on multiple machines.

Any ideas?

I just installed Concrete5 (October, 2011) and I'm having the same problem using Linux with Firefox (2009 version).

I'm sorry if I've posted in a few threads on this, but I haven't seen any answers.

I will say again, that I think Concrete 5 is a great concept and I'm hoping to use it for many client applications where non-technical people want to be able to manage and edit their own web sites. Concrete 5 could really open up that market, but this problem has to be resolved.

Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks.
