Flash intro prior to Home Page

Someone had asked this question, but I am not finding the answer posted here any longer - my client wants a flash intro prior to their home page loading - someone had suggested using the index.html page and that it would likely load first - no luck with that option - is there an alternative suggestion - recommendation?

Sad to see that no response yet coz I, myself fell into same situation. My boss asked me to create a flash intro prior to the home page. Is there any one can shed some light on this, pls??

Can you just put the Flash on the home page, then make another page that is the other home page (that the flash intro links to)?

And I'm sorry you are being forced to create a Flash intro page ;)

You could use Adobe After Effects as I did.

Client wanted a new site (old site was all Flash) with some animation and music for iOS devices.

thank you for the response. I have swishmax only. I dont haveafter effects. I am a newbie in swishmax but trying to figure out how to make an introduction flash video link button says >>Enter to Website<< .
