I'd actually recommend not using a flip book for such information, it's a real-world analog that really doesn't work very well on the web. It might initially look nice/interesting, but it's really not a format that lends itself to allowing someone to quickly scan for information or navigate effectively. They also don't work well on mobiles or smaller screens.

The only times I've seen these work ok is when there's something more casual that needs to be browsed, like an online copy of shop's printed advertising brochure. Even then these have often taken a long time to load, have been clunky to use and the detail has been limited.

I think I'd go as far as say to only use this style if you are actually trying to show what the actually pages of a real book look like, for something like a preview of a physical book you might be buying for example, something where the actual layout/look is arguably more important than the information.

For the kind of information you said you're needing to manage I'd suggest presenting this information in a traditional list, focusing on clear hierarchy of headings. If wanted to put in something more dynamic, I'd be aiming for some sort of filter based on keywords other attributes.

Personally if I was looking for an educational course and I had to turn pages of a virtual book I'd be instantly turned off. I'd want to be able to quickly scroll through a page, easily do searches for keywords, perhaps even print the list.
