Form submission Bug

Permalink 1 user found helpful
I'm not sure which form to post this under (I think it would be nice if the Dev's added a "need help" or "bugs" selection...)

I'm having a strange issue with the Forms block (the default one for C5). I've created a form that has multiple options, selection boxes and two text area boxes, and a file submission box.

Everything is working well but, when the e-mail gets kicked out, the second text area is getting repeated under the attachment notification. (see the attached image).

I've deleted the text area question and the attachment question and re-added them - the problem persists. I'm not sure how to go about fixing this. Any idea's?

Well there is a "Bug" section :

http://www.concrete5.org/developers/bugs/5-6-1/...

And the "need help" is the basic idea behind the forum :) so any section is basically dedicated to the "need help", except for the chit-chat of course :)

About your issue, well it does look like a bug, but could you give us a link so we can have a look ?

Good to know, thanks for the link. The form is for internal use, but I'll create a dev form thats a duplicate and post the user/pass here so you guys can see.

Hi, this is a very old bug which still hasn't been fixed. A quick fix is to change the order of the form fields. I think I made the email address come before the submit file field and
made the message field area come after the file submit. See examplehttp://www.itegra.co.uk/submit-cv/...

Ah, cool - I'll give this a try tomorrow and see if it works. If so, this is a easy work around but still - think the bug should be addressed and fixed properly.

This did work, though I think the bug should be addressed still.

In the mean time, we've switched to an aftermarket addon solution as we ultimately ended up needing more options.
