i upgraded to 5.4.0 and chrome is my browser of choice. in the dashboard (*specifically*, because the site seems to view correctly in any browser) the sitemap menu options stopped dropping down on click. pretty big problem for me.

then i used firefox and it worked. but now firefox, after adding new page and going to that page in edit mode, won't let me add a new block. it says "access denied". really big problem for me.

i opened opera, and everything seems to worked just like it did in chrome before the version upgrade to concrete5 version 5.4.0. Well, the new add-on AddThis Bar - 1.0 doesn't show up anymore like in other browsers. So now, i'm editing only in opera since this was my 3rd browser of choice (didn't even try ie yet).

please advise me. if it helps or matters, i have these installed in addition to the core block types:

looks like no one wanted to touch this one with a 10 yard pole...after backing up, i did a complete uninstall-reinstall. didn't work. did a downgrade, then reinstall...that worked. issue solved, but not explained.
