Formatting pictures

I'm having trouble formatting my pictures. Right now, they're in a vertical list and spaced evenly, but I'd like them to be spread across the screen horizontally. Please help!

What are you using for a block or add-on? Do you have a link so we can view what you currently are displaying?
If you are adding image blocks instead of a gallery, they will stack vertically. If you do not want to use an gallery add-on, try splitting a content block and adding images to it so they display across the block.

I'm using a content block and simply adding pictures and then linking them to pages. Here is the link to the page:http://www.stephaniestevens.com/index.php/sponsors/...
Thanks

When adding a new block to main... instead of selecting "add block" select "add layout" from further down the list. There you'll be able to add columns to the block that can be edited for the width you need for the pics you're displaying. This will allow you to display them the way you're looking to. (I think so anyway ;) )

Thanks, I'll try that...will that also allow me to change the background color behind those pictures? If not, how can I do this for only one page?

Once you've got the your layout done the way you like... you can left click on each cell/column and choose "design" to edit the background.

You have been very helpful. This enabled me to change a border color, but not the background color. It only lets me add a background image. Anyway to change the color of the background?

One last question. How do I delete a template after I've added one?
