Frames

Is there a way to insert a frame into the website that displays a content block. I've tried doing this but to no luck.

If you want an alternative for an iFrame, here it is:

I'm sure if you knew what you were getting into, you could design some frames into a site powered by c5. I would recommend not doing that:

1) c5 revolves around a simple in-context editing experience that is browser based. If you add frames, you're going to end up with two editing toolbars, one for each frame.... or a frame that's un-editable..

2) frames suck. For so many reasons including SEO, bookmark-ability, printing, back/forward navigation... I can hardly think of a site that uses them in a graceful way - perhaps if you have some navigation that is just HUGE in a app like WHM... Even the old centering and scaling tricks us 90's web production guys had to use are more easily accomplished with CSS now...

if you're talking about an iFrame, there is a way to put one on the page as a block, which will probably be available as its own block in the upcoming marketplace launch. Any content it would hold would have to be edited/served from somewhere else I think tho.

see this dicussion:http://www.concrete5.org/community/features/iframe_block...

you can either use the external form block or the block I've attached to the last message. In case you need more attributes, features, let me know! I'll add them..
