French content can't edit, access problems

Hi
I've got a website in 4 language. Only in the french language I have problems to edit it. I often have an access error from the apache Server. I updated then the content direct in the DB. But since the client need to update the text by him self I have to find a solution that the edit function is working.
Has anyone a idea what could be the problem?
