Getting rid of slideshow, so I cant put a static picture.

Hey, brand new to building a website. Just wondering how I get rid of the slideshow from the Yogurt theme altogether. Can I totally remove it??? and after I do how am I able to insert and image into the space where the slideshow was? Appreciate the help!!!!

if you go to your dashboard -> pages & themes -> page types... for each page type you press "defaults" - now you get you page theme and you can edit this page.. you click on the block and just delete it.. save your page, and now all your future pages will not contain this slideshow...

if you want to put something else in replace, you just add a block where you deleted the slideshow... and if you want it to show up on all pages, you click the block and push "copy to subpages" and then you can make it show on all existing pages...

just remember this has to be done in all pagetypes you use..
