Getting rid of the "MY SITE"

I am brand new at this so I may be asking a real silly question. I'm trying to design a homepage for our boat club. I'm SLOWLY working my way through this but I still have a text at the top of my home page that says My Site. I would have thought it's in the properties for that page but I just can't get rid of it.

Frank,
I see you've been frustrated with this issue from posts on two different threads.
I'd love to help out ( most of us on the forum have been help[ed by others here).
If you are having a problem with site name and would like assistance that saves you time... Please post the theme your using, (the version of C5 if its an older install) and, if at all possible, your URL or a screen shot so there's no confusion about whats affecting your site.

Thx!

Using the pre-installed themes, you'll find that there are two different areas to make site name changes w/ two different results.
Under the Sitewide settings tab in the dashboard, you'll find the Site Name block on the top of the page will change how your site is changed on the Navigation Tab in your browser.

Under the Scrapbook setting tab in the dashboard, you'll find a "Global" scrapbook... select this scrapbook and you should find a block named "My_Site_Name" (if its not there, it can be added/created by you and named the same). You can edit this block to change the site name on your page.

Important: If you don't notice the changes you expect... be Sure to clear your cache (both on dashboard sitewide and on your browser)
Enjoy
