Greek letters

Permalink 1 user found helpful
Hi,
When editing text in the "Content bloc", I sometime need greek letters (in a scientific context).
How is it possible ?
Thanks

If you're using 5.8+ you can enable the "Symbols" option for the WYSIWYG editor by going to Dashboard -> System & Settings -> Rich Text Editor and checking the "Special Characters" option

Thanks for your reply !
The Special characters are present in my Wysiwig editor but they are not such "specials" :
ABCD...Z abcd...z 123...0 Just a few greek letters. (See the attach file)
Is there a way to choose an other bank of characters ?

Depending on your operating system, you might be able to type them in using special key combinations. Try to find the 'character map' utility for your operating system.

You may also be able to insert some of them as html special characters such as Δ

Adding spaces so it doesn't get rendered as delta:
& # 916;

Thanks also for your reply.
In fact I tried first this way, but the code leaved like this in the text without transforming in the corresponding character.

You would have to enter it in the html view, or the text editor will escape it.
