Having trouble moving subpages on the site map

Hi everyone. I just installed C5 and I am in the process of building my website. I have added several subpages to my home page. I want to rearrange their order, but for some reason when I try to drag and drop on the sire map I get a "no" icon instead of anything that indicates I can in fact drag and drop. I suspect it's just something simple I am missing, but can anyone help? Thank you...
