Header block

Hey!
Im building my new companys site, and I'm trying to figure out a couple things about how to get the header block done the way I want it.
The idea for the whole site is , a photo as background, then have seperate boxes for the header, main part, side bar and the footer, to be black with rounded corners. I'd also like the header to have my company logo instead of the text link, and to have the header menu on it, got any tips or ideas for me? :) planning on going with absolutely minimum costs.
Thx

Most of what you describe is pretty easy to achieve if you know your way around themes but, as they say, Time is Money :)
Your design list resembles a handful of themes that already exist in the marketplace. See JB1's themes likehttp://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/themes/night-city/... and see if one will work for you. I believe a very modest expenditure in a quality theme up front may save you a lot of time and frustration, plus.... you can still modify it to give a unique look for your company.

Buy a theme from the marketplace that fits you're needs.

Do you want something like this:http://blackdoggames.co.uk/

Or these, the sitename can easily be to use a logo:http://sheer.55webdesign.co.uk/...

Thanks for the answers guys! I actually managed to get the basic layout the way I wanted it and even before I found your helpful tips, the background and the boxes located right and right color and rounded corners. Still haven't figured out how to set the logo to the header though. Also having a couple issues with the auto-nav in getting it looking as I want and placed where I want it. Idea for that was to have the auto-nav buttons vertically, and embedded to the bottom line of the black header box.

Hi Ruben,

To replace the Site name with a logo in your theme, go to Dashboard > Stacks and enter the logo in a block named My_Site_Name. This stack can be created if it does not already exist.
