Help! Big Error with Google analytics tracking code!

I always had the google analytics tracking code in the tracking codes of my website, recently I was trying to verify my website with webmaster tools and placed that code in tracking, hoping to verify the website. But, no luck there! And now the tracking code is actually visible!!
