It depends on what you mean by "similar" job.
For fors, you have the default form add-on that comes free with C5 and you have the cheaper extended form add-on. Of course, depending on what exactly you're trying to do, they might do the trick or not.

For the data display add-on, if you know php, you could use the free designer content add-on and modify the result to get what you want.
