Help! I can't install add-ons!
I keep receiving the same error when I'm trying to install a few add-ons from the marketplace.
>>"The following errors occurred when attempting to process your request:
* not found. Please check that the block controller file contains the correct class name."<<
The developers of the add-ons have never encountered this problem when I informed them of it.
When I approached my webhost this is what they found out,
>>"1. If I change the ownership of /home/acct/public_html/files/cache/ to funnyins, I get a blank page and the following error in the log:
[23-Mar-2011 10:15:18] PHP Fatal error: Class 'Zend_Cache_Backend' not found in /home/acct/public_html/Zend/Cache/Backend/File.php on line 40
2. If I change the ownership of /home/acct/public_html/files/cache/ to nobody, the site works, and the error stops.
The support of this software should be able to comment better on this. Or if you have any link to any document regarding the installation of this software, please do let us know the link. We shall check if there is any special requirement mentioned in that link."<<
Anyone got any idea what might be wrong?

Have you tried clearing cache under Sitewide settings in dashboard? Maybe refresh your browser window or restart your browser?
Yes, I cleared my cache, refresh/restart browser, uninstall etc. I still get the same error message everytime time I try to install any add-on.

I had this same problem recently with an install on a windows server. The clients IT guy move the site to a linux box and everything started working again. I do not know what the problem was but that was a solution that worked.

I have no such luck however. I switched to new host last week but the
problem never went away.
