Can anyone help me figure out two major problemos?
1)my C5 does not switch to the approved version of a given page edit when asked. It says: this page pending approval. So I click 'approve' and nothing happens?
2)new pages created do not appear except under the home page? They do not appear under other nav links/pages even though "guest" is selected in 'viewable by' category and "hide from nav" is NOT selected.

Sometimes its easy to lose track of approved versions for me, especially if more than one person has edit permissions. Be sure to view the "Versions" tab in the tool bar when you enter edit to orient yourself to what your viewers will be seeing and to easily approve the most current edit.
1) Approve the version you want approved then delete the new versions.
2) When you add a new page, make sure that you are on the home page when adding the new page. If your not on the home page, the new page will be added under the page you are on.
In the dashboard check your sitemap and make sure your adding the pages under home and not another page.
Does the theme your using have drop down functionality for the header nav?

2) go to the page you want to have the page under and add it there.
