Hide parts of the dashboard
Permalink 1 user found helpful
Hi I would like to hide parts of the dashboard from a client as it is confusing for them. (So I am told)
I have enabled advanced permissions and show system pages in the dashboard.
If I want to hide parts of the dashboard I would add the group to the permissions of the dashboard page or specific pages and leave everything unchecked right?
Trouble is when I add the group in the page permissions and leave it blank it doesn't save.
If I check say the READ button the group will stay but I want to trun access off not on.
I'm confused here and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
I have made it work by setting the main dashboard panel to READ and manually setting the rest of the pages and sub pages.
Thanks for your help I guess it didn't work exactly as I thought it would but after a bit of playing around it seems to be correct.

It hides the dashboard pages/buttons from those who don't need them. Does that help?
