hiding sitemap edit options
Permalink
Hi,
I have created an editor group which can only see certian parts of the dashboard and also only edit certain pages of their site.
The problem im having, even when i have hidden 'pages and theme' from the editors they still can click on the page in the sitemap and get the full options of accessing 'designs', 'properties' and 'permissions' options.
How do i also hide these sitemap options from the group?
many thanks

Please delete :)
FYI for others who may stumble across this.
Even though full admin options display in the dashboard (move / delete / versions / properties / etc.) if the user does not have permission to perform the action then it will do one of two things:
1.) Tell the user they do not have permission to perform the action (e.g. if you choose delete, but do not have deletion rights you will be notified that "You cannot delete this page.").
2.) Put the action into a "Pending Actions" area of the page version history and require a user with higher permissions to approve or deny the action (e.g. if you choose to move a page (but don't have permission) it will inform you that your action is pending approval)
