Home page not working

Still new and still learning. My installed themes homepg pagetype was showing 'None' for the project so I went into PHPmyadmin and changed the page type table to the correct project id. Now it shows Flexcrete in dashboard Pagetypes but changes to home.php don't show up on my home page - I have to edit default.php for changes to show. (It shows homepg as the selected pagetype) when I look at the design under edit.
Have you contacted the theme developer? You can go to the theme page in the marketplace and click on the "Support" button to submit a request for support. They should be able to help you.

Have you tried "Inspecting" that theme in "Page Types & Themes"? This might add some page types, which are present as files, but not in the database.
When I inspected the theme it shows that action for all the theme types is "None. This file will automatically be used" by all of the page types and there is nothing to add.
