Home Page Slider No Longer Working

Permalink
My brother owns a restaurant and he hired an independent web developer a couple of years ago to build a site for his business. The web developer used Concrete5 as the CMS to build and maintain my brother's site. Unfortunately, the web developer hasn't responded to my brother's inquiries to update his site. Therefore, my brother asked me if I could make some updates to his site (for what it's worth, I have some basic web development knowledge in HTML, CSS, JS, WordPress, etc.).

My brother asked me to add 12 images to the photo slider on his home page. The photo slider already contained 10 images. I successfully uploaded the 12 images and assigned them to the home page slider set. However, after uploading and assigning the images to the slider, the slider no longer appears on the home page. I thought there might be too many images in the slider set, so I unassigned 12 images to the slider set. This did not fix the problem.

The website ishttp://www.amherstpizzaandalehouse.com....

Please let me know if there's something I can do to make the home page slider reappear.

Home page is missing content, there is no footer details. WHat page type are you using?

Also the version you're using is REALLY old, look at updating.

Yes. The home page is missing content. The main frame with the black background is where the image slider used to be. Now it’s gone (as well as the footer). The footer appears on all of the other pages.

I attached a screen shot of the Page Types from the Dashboard.

Does the home page file include footer details?
<?php  $this->inc('elements/footer.php'); ?>

What does the home page code look like, could you post.

Okay, have you tried changing the home page to a different page type. i.e. left sidebar?
