Home should not be the first / front page of the sitemap!

Hi,
how can I get a different page - not the top page in the Sitemap, - the first state to load page?

Hi,
Thank you. So it is not directly in C5? htaccess is a solution, yes.
An example of my "problem":
The site is home page "A" have. In the horizontal navigation with autonav is "A"but an entry somewhere in the beginning. And all sides have bases.
Possibly can with the complicated rules in the appropriate solvent autonav and the only reason custom map. But not always.
But there is no better solution? Just the page attribute or the like and you will give to the home page?

Sorry I'm still not really following, but I would imagine that if you have a starter page, that is not the "home" page you may cause issues, as I think (and this is only based on my limited knowledge of c5). Concrete works using nodes and a relative directory, ie
REL_DIR, "/"
This usually links to the home page or at the least your index.php
When working out the sitemaps the sitemap works from node 0 something which I have struggled to change and get the changes to stick.(I managed to change the hardcoded to an inner page but this is no good for the dashboard)
I don't think C5 can amend the httaccess.
It may be possible though to add a horizontal nav below the head and then make the home page redundant. You should be able to rename the original home page and then remove it from the nav/sitemap/page list using attributes and have in the next level down have a new home page? but your relative links will all be based from the root of your site. And if you link your logo to your home page you may need to hard code this to point to your site.

Why not change the Home page properties (name, attributes, etc.), page type and content so it fits what you want as the first page a user sees on your direct URL?
You could use htaccess to re-direct the the user when they visit the site to another page?
This would not be reflected in the sitemap
You could add a Page Directly to the initial page and have that as the home page then you could the parent page as a splash page or what ever it is you would like as the top level page.
