Hello!
I'm working on my first site with Conrete5 (well, with any CMS actually!) and had a question about the auto-nav.
I have decided to put the placeholder pages in place first and then work on styling. What's got me stuck from the start is how to add menu items that don't have actual *pages* associated with them.
For example:
ABOUT US:
-- Personnel
-- Clients
I don't need an "About Us" page because the organization introduction is on the homepage - I just want to have sub-pages for personnel and clients under an 'about' heading.
As far as I can tell, only actual pages can appear in the menu and there's no way to set up a simple 'header and sub-nav' menu. I know how to create one by hand with CSS and HTML, but I'm not sure how to do it in a way that will allow my client to add/remove items in Concrete without breaking the menu.
Suggestions?
