How do I alter the text in the editable areas using css?

tried using css as normal to alter the text in the editable areas but nothing appears to take effect.

Do I have to use a specific reference to an area?

Try using your theme's typography.css

typically in C5 the typography.css overrides the main/style.css

Thanks for the reply. Tried it but it only effects the 'add to main' heading not the main content.

Really perplexed
