How do I enter code into the section of the website?

I know I can add code to the header but I need to paste some code into the body section but can't see how I can do this. Please help.
I have some JavaScript code that I would like to add between the <body> and </body> section of the website. It is for tracking analytical data.
Goto your Dashboard > System and Settings
There is a 'tracking codes' option. From there you can put it in the header or footer (Google prefers the header).
Alternately, if you want the code only on one page (I put AddThis buttons and the Facebook like buttons only on the home page), go into edit mode and select Custom Attributes > Header Extra Content.
One interface tip: if you get into the custom attributes page...maybe I'm a bit thick, but when you click on the option, like Header Extra Content, it goes grayed out, like it's gone. It's just hidden the category while the edit is open---click on the little -- at the upper right.
