Hi,
Your header area has a left margin of 45 px. If you are comfortable editing the theme's code, you'll find it on about line 140 of typography.css
Because the site is 960px wide and your image is 900px wide, you'll want to edit the margin to 30px to be centered.
OR
Resize your image to 870px wide so it appears centered (960px wide minus 45px left margin and 45px right margin)
