How to asign an image for the thumbnails of the Multimedia Box,

Hi Sebastian,
We adquired the license of multimedia box, when we were implementaring the add-on plugin we found the next error: we tried to change the preview image on the thumbnails but it doesnt work and we received this error.
We created an attribute custom_thumbnail type Image/File display this message: Catchable fatal error: Object class File could not be converted string in/var/www/packages/multimedia_box/blocks/multimedia_box/controller.php on line 154
