I have a site at th2.someplace.com. I want to change a bunch of external links to test.someplace.com. When I edit the links and update, they still show th2.someplace.com. Examination of the underlying data reveals {CCM:BASE_URL}, which I can't change in edit mode. Even if I hack the table and replace {CCM:BASE_URL} withhttp://test.someplace.com, the links deployed still say th2.someplace.com. I tried this with and without REDIRECT_TO_BASE_URL set to false.

Amazingly, when I replaced th2.someplace.com with biz.someplace.com, it worked, but that's not what I want.

How do I make Concrete5 not be so smart about this?
