How to change the color outside of the "website"

Hello,

I've been using C5 for a while but only know enough to do simple things. Months ago I managed to change the color of the border outside of the c5 pages. Now i want to change it but for the life of me, I can't remember how I did it. It had to be something really simple since my skills are simple but after several hours of looking, I give up.

Attached is a screen shot to indicate what I mean. See the green border on the outside of the c5 page? Anyone know where/how to change it?

Hello datacraftsteve,

First of all you have to check that the installed theme of your site....Go to Dashboard->Pages & Themes->Themes....

Then Click on themes to find the installed one...click 'customize' option from installed theme...

There is a option named "background color"...please change the color as you wish...this all done for you

Thanks for the reply.

I did try changing the background color by clicking on Customize on the theme previously without success. And I just tried it again without success.

Perhaps the change I made previously to make it green is overriding my attempts to change the color via the customize theme option?
