How to create child pages & drop-down menu in main nav?

Permalink 2 users found helpful
Hi - Concrete newbie here. My question is really in two-parts:
1/. How do you create parent and child pages,
2/. And how do you get them to appear in a drop down menu at the top?

Is this a built-in feature of Concrete or an add-on. I've looked about in the forums, esp. at the Auto Nav info but I'm not clear

Thanks for any pointers.

grovesk,
If you add pages under the 'home' page these will be considered 'top level' pages. You can add pages under any top level page to create subpages. When you navigate to your sitemap what you will see is the home page with a folder beside it and then your pages listed underneath. For every page listed underneath the home page that also has it's own sub-pages, this page will also appear as a folder.

Auto Nav will automatically detect these if you choose the proper settings from the autonav dialogue box. However, in order to use a drop down menu you will have to use a custom template of your own to make that happen - which is pretty easy. Remo has a great tutorial for this at:
