How to delete the page type "Portfolio Project"?

Hello.
Im trying to remove all page types that are not in use.
I do not use the portofolio on any of my pages.
I did search a bit but did not find any answers on this issue.
Closest thing i found was this.

I have cleared my cache.
Emptyed my trashcan.
Deleted all pending drafts.
Run the automated job > Remove old page types. 100's of times now.
But still. it will no be deleted.
I always sais. "This page type is in use on 1 page."
But i do not use it anywhere,
I do not want to go directly into the db and delete it there. im worried it can cause issues.

Maybe you have a deleted page in your trash can that uses it still?
No. The trashcan is empty.

I have also noticed that. when i go into the dashboard. sitetree and add a new page.
I get the option to add Empty or Porofolio page. But i guess this is because its a page type.
I really want this away since i dont use it.
Any ideas what i might have overlooked?
