How to edit a page with an error

If I have a page that has error in the script and is not showing properly, how can I rectify the coding, as I am unable to edit it? The bar with the edit function on the top left does not show!!

Are you able to go back to a previous version by going to the Dashboard -> Full Sitemap?
Not possible as I am getting the same error everywhere. looks like it is related to a table which has been deleted sometime ago, is there a way to edit the code?
Is the error you are getting a javascript error or a PHP error? If it's a javascript error you should be able to login and check the dashboard, if it's a PHP error it would depend on what the error is and what type of block on the page is causing it.
