How to point to a certain page in folders

I would like to point visitors to a particular page when they click on a particular link in the header navigation.

Example:
Currently on my header navigation menu,
1. home
2. news
3. products
4. contact

I created 12 pages under News folder and would like to point visitors directly to one of the page. Each page contains monthly news and updates of my company.

What I would like to do is to point visitors to one of the 12 pages when they click on the News.

If you want the News Menu to be a drop down menu with 12 items, the Superfish menu in the Marketplace will do the job.

Not exactly what I have in mind.

This is what I'm looking at:http://www.mydomain.com/news/june

The visitor is directed to the page for that month.

I have a page for each month of the year so every month I would like to point the News link to the relevant page.

Is this possible?

Using the custom page attribute "replace_link_with_first_in_nav" might be helpful in your situation. You can read more about it here:

or just search the forums for additional information.
