How to search for folders, and list more than 10 results?

Hi,

I am bit of a newbie with this new version of Concrete5. We are in the process of having our old Concrete5 website upgraded to Version 8.4.3

Is there are way to only search for FOLDERS? I am creating a number of folders so that we can sort images, once they have been uploaded via a fileset ... as from what I understand (and tested) it is not possible to select a whole folder to create a fileset?

When I use the search box in file manager I receive a list of all our files, and there appears to be no option in the customise search area to filter/search for folders only?

How can I search (i) for folders only and (ii) for more than 10 folder results at a time?

Hopefully that makes sense :-)

I do not think you can search for folders, but you can change the number of results by clicking on the "Advanced" link inside the search box, going to the "Customize Results" tab, scrolling all the way down to "Number of Results" and changing the value there.

Many thanks for the reply. When I select number of results i.e., 100 the results seem to only show FILES, not FOLDERS.

Please have a look at this short video -http://goo.gl/VfrMsR

Many thanks

Your search result is displaying the first 10 items..
You have 7 folders and 3 files in the view (10 items).
Do you believe that you should have more than 7 folders?

Thanks for the quick reply.

At the moment we do not have more than 7 folders, however I want to create more than 10 folders (we have a lot of images to sort/group), which will not show on default 10 result view. So, thought that searching for folders would help locate them easily?

Try using the 'Jump to Folder' function as this will display a list of your folders so you can choose one..

Thanks @weyboat. I have 4 pages of folders and (i) cannot search for a specific folder and (ii) not able to view more than 10 folders at a time. I have tried advanced search and selected 100, but results only include images, not folders.

Any suggestions/workaround as to how to achieve (i) and (ii) ?

Many thanks.
