how to change default header menu
Permalink
Maybe I'm missing something but I can't seem to figure out how to change the navigation links in the header. Options seem to control color, display pages, breadcrumb or not, etc. but not the actual names : Home-About-Example-Contact. I even looked in the various header css and php files for that particular theme and could not see where these words were listed. I'm the first to admit I don't really know what I'm doing, but it's hard to believe there is not an obvious and easy way to do this. Or maybe a reason it cannot be changed.
Thank you so much - you are a gentleman and a scholar. That would have taken me a long time to figure out by trial and error.
Obviously I am a neophyte non-techie. But sometimes what seems obvious to a developer is an insurmountable stumbling block for an end-user, even if they are familiar with similar programs. Maybe once I get a firmer grasp of the big picture, I could post an overview/primer for people like me.
I had another question about where to find/purchase the music block, but I'll start another topic for it.
I still have sympathy for first-time computer(PC) users. For instance, they may ask "why, when you want to turn it off, do you go to the START button?"

No problem to change the sample header menu.
- Just click for example on 'About'.
- Then 'Edit Page'
- Then 'Properties'
You can now modify the name here ;)
PS : Don't forget to save the modification by "Exit Edit Mode" and "Publish my Edits"
