How to change the default theme's images

Permalink 1 user found helpful
How do I change the default theme so that it picks a different image to the sheep image. It seems that one of four pictures is selected either at random or depending on page level? Where is this controlled?

I've been poking around concrete/themes/default but can't quite understand what to change.

Of course I can't simply replace the sheep image because C5 doesn't allow the ability to replace an image and keep the same file name (another feature request :).

So what do I do?

This answer is now more than three years old, and it's wrong. There's not even a usable scrapbook any more. I am SO SORRY that I updated my version of Concrete5. I lost the ability to do so many things I'm used to doing.

OK, I found it on my own. Here are the steps to replace the standard header images:

1. Log in to edit the page.
2. Click "Edit" at top left.
3. Click the header image, then click "Edit".
4. Under "Image to display," click the image, and select "Choose new file". I have attached a screenshot.
5. Either select the new file (if it's already in File Manager) or upload your new image. The image should be 960px wide and 212px tall.
6. Save your work and you're done!
