hyperlikning files without using the file block!

hey guys,

I am just starting up, so another query. i have uploaded several files using the file manager in the dashboard, is there a possibility to link these files into my html pages without having to use the file block?

If you click on the file in the file manager and go to properties, you'll see the ID. Link to it like this.

www.www.yoursite.com/index.php/download_file/-/ID#/...

Someone might can tell you a better way but this way will work.
