I cannot upload image files (Token error)

Every time I try to upload an image file (Mac, Firefox, Chrome), C5 Version 8.21 through the file manager, I get a Token Error and am asked to reload the page. Files uploaded earlier. Don't now. Haven't added any new add-ons. No custom coding. These are small jpgs and pngs (well under 1MB). Properly named. Caching is turned off. No memcached or varnish on a standard Apache web server. About to throw the computer through the window, but that doesn't really solve anything. Gonna be hard to sell this to my client. What am I missing? Am I the only concrete5 user having this issue?

Oh, and I can't even login in Safari.

I hate WordPress. But at least I can upload image files. Seriously. This is making me physically ill.

This is going to sound like an odd question, but are you on a "normal" internet connection? I've seen weird things like this happen when people are on a mobile network connection because their IP address gets reset every so often which invalidates their session and they get logged out and get token errors.

Thanks. Sorry to everyone for the multiple posts about the same issue. The web host migrated the sites to a newer server, which so far seems to be working fine. Fingers crossed.
