I lost my whole site .. no dashboard access anymore

my site .. superiorcoastal.com is not more than a personal website so it's not a total disaster ? i guess.
i've been using C5 for several years now. was on 5.5.1 i think . all was well but decided to add an audio file to my home page and when i added the file.. error.. no more home page. i could still find the dashboard by typing it in behind my domain.. and found via full site files that the other pages were fine. tried to remove the block in question from my add-ons but ? didn't see it. .. was going to make a new home page and move all my pages to it but really didn't know how i guess. made the page as an added page and moved the other pages to it and .. well you can't delete the home page.. anyway then i decided to go and restore from a previous site backup download.. now.. nothing.. no home page.. no dashboard . i guess i'm just going to have to start from scratch and assign a new site? or what ever?

yeah.. i guess i should have mentioned that I had tried to approve an earlier version of the home page.. it was my first move.. ? I have a pretty old mac OS 10.4 with firefox 3.5 .. a few things with the dashboard don't work well..if at all and approving a previous page version is one of them.. fortunately it's just my personal website so i'm not loosing much.. just the time it takes to rebuild. i probably shouldn't have updated to 5.5.1 but i like it.. other than needing a new computer
.. and that's probably it.. i did the back up before upgrading to 5.5.1 so .. now i wonder if i can downgrade to that previous C5 ?
After you approve your older version of the page, delete the newest version or you may not see the changes.
yeah.. i'm dealing with too old an operating system.. i was not having luck with making any changes concerning 'versions' of pages since i upgraded.. it's all gone now.. i uninstalled and started from scratch. i use bluehost so now have to get it reconnected to C5
What you should have done, while you could still access the dashboard is click on Home and Versions and revert to a previous one...
Anyways, looking at the current error on your site, I would say you have restored a db from a previous version of C5, but still have the most recent core in place. That's my guess...
