I need to save blocks in a scrapbook that does not change all other blocks on my site.

I have a site that features event profiles. While the format is the same, the content is different for each one. I built a separate scrapbook for each section of the site and saved template blocks in each one that are specific for that listing profile.

When I save a block to one of the scrapbooks and then try to use it on a page, changing the content to apply to that profile, it changes the info in all the previous blocks.

I have tried saving the block as a new copy and as an alias. Both methods yield the same result.

Is there a way to save blocks where they do not change all other blocks when altered?

It sounds like you might do better using the add-on Designer Content (http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/designer-content/).

You can then create a block style that suits you and just insert the block on any page with the content you want on that page.

It sounds like you're using the global scrapbook. Have you tried the personal scrapbook?

They are all personal scrapbooks. They are acting like global though. I don't understand it at all. Did I miss something in the initial setup that has them behaving this way?
