I wish to programatically create a page but not sure where or how to run the script

I have been reading a few of the articles about writing your own script to create pages. I'm not fully conversant with populating the pages so I thought I would try simply creating the pages first.

I have the information about the page titles in the old system I want to copy across so I have written the following script. Not sure I have everything that is needed so if some one wants to check it that knows what they are doing that would be great.

I am eventual going to put an "Auto-Nav" on the side with a "Content" block with a "Comments" block below on each of the pages.

Thanks for any assistance and where do I run it and how?

This will help in automatically adding items to created pages, and should be very helpful.http://performancec5.com/how-to/adding-an-item-to-every-page/...

The site is Tallacmans, and is a great resource for c5 knowledge. As to auto creating pages many blocks in the market auto create, blog pages, events, etc, and depending on your sites purpose you may just want to rely on whats there. If not than you could use those packages to see how they are doing it, and than use that to build your own.

That was indeed helpful, but the main aim is to populate the pages from an old custom database. If you see my attached text file it may give you an idea of what I am after.
