IE can't login

I have 2 separate clients that can't login to c5 through IE as well as their clients can't login. One client has another site on c5 and it works fine on the same computer and IE. I upgraded the site to 5.4.2.2 to see if that would help but it hasn't and the crazy part is that some of the computers in their office can access the site some can't. I am really at a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think I or anyone else wanting to help with this issue will need a bit more information.

If you can't provide a link so we can look at it perhaps you can tell us what theme you're using or which add-ons you've installed.

Stock C5, freshly installed, works fine with logins on all IE versions I've tried, so it must be something you've changed, like the theme or an add-on.

Sorry about that whimsmedia, the link to the site ishttp://www.casonbradley.com. The add-ons we have for this site are document library (hasn't been touched in over a year), login, Blog and a couple others that haven't been touched in a while. I was messing with the login add on only when they started having trouble. Do you need anything else?

I think they may just have the wrong password information. I was able to access the login no issue, and an attempt to login did exactly what it should do and brought me to the incorrect username screen, which means if I had a pass and username, I could probably get in.

Are they trying to login with their email addresses ?

Maybe give them passwords like 123456 and tell them to try again ?

Have you used IE to replicate the problem using their login credentials ?

I went over there and tried it myself yesterday and you can get to the login page as well as the error login page but when you log in successful it just takes you back to the login page. So just out of curiosity I tried changing the URL to make it go back to the site and it did but the edit bar was not there. So I tried typing in the dashboard link and it didn't take me anywhere. I was using my admin account credentials and still nothing but on the computer in the next room I logged in first try and everything acted as normal.

Is there a different version of Internet Explorer that is being used perhaps?

It sounds to me like an IE CSS bug might be causing the problem but until I have a better look at things I wouldn't be able to pass any kind of proper judgement.

I'm having the exact same issue with a client. It can't just be a one off thing, this sort of bug has come up in the past with Concrete5. Anyone have any solutions?

I've been having the same issue with a site that I just launched.

The issue is the Privacy settings in IE. If you go to Internet Options->privacy and set the slider to Medium, you can login just fine.

My problem is that my users are accessing the site from a High School and don't have permissions to edit their privacy settings.

Has anyone found a workaround for this issue so that users can still login if their Privacy Settings are set to > Medium?

I'm running 5.2.2.1.

Just fixed it. It was due to hosting phpconfig. I had to enable PHP 5.2 instead the default PHP 5.2 (FastCGI)
