Image Add On's

Help. I have successfully unstalled 3 image add on packages and they appear in my dashboard as "installed". When I go to my website, click edit page, click "add block", chose "Simple Image Gallery" or one of the other two packages that I added...it prompts me for a file location or to go to the file manager. No images appear anywhere! What am i doing incorrectly?
