Import HTML and 'reparent' images
Permalink
I have a lot of HTML documents to coopy from various places to a new site. Since the folder structure and so on is different I will need to manually copy over the images and fix all the links in the new pages. I was wondering if there was (otherwise sugggest someone consider developing an addon) so that you can paste the HTML in and automatically localize the image files, adding them to a designated folder.
If not I guess I have a whole lot of search and replace to do.

There is a bulk import in the file manager -- gather up all the image files, and use an FTP program to upload them all to SITEROOT/files/incoming/ directory, then in the File Manager, click "Upload Multiple" and then click the "Add Incoming" tab. Now that they're in the file manager, it will be a little easier (but still a manual process) -- when you're pasting in your content, where the image area supposed to go you click the "Insert Image" link in the blue bar at the top of the editing window, then find the image in the file manager, click on it, and click the "Choose" item.
If you have a *LOT* of content and photos, this is going to take a long time -- you might want to hire a temp to do this for you (if this is for a company site and you have any kind of budget).
